For those who would prefer a raft, bring along another couple and we'll discount both rooms  by 10%

Canoeing and rafting on the North Fork of the White River will be a highlight of your trip to the Ozarks Heritage Region. This year plentiful rain will increase your enjoyment of a half or full day canoe trip. On the North Fork, you can drift quietly on the peaceful stretches but still have challenges in the faster water. There are plenty of areas to stop and enjoy the beauty of the Central Missouri Ozark Mountains and the crystal clear waters of the river and many springs.  A two night stay at Victoria Gardens will give you time to experience our newly revitalized downtown shopping district, a well prepared meal at one of our local restaurants and a day of canoeing and exploring the Mark Twain National Forest.

Day One
You may check in at Victoria Gardens any time after 3:00 PM, where you may relax before dinner or go explore the downtown shops.  We will provide you with a certificate for a meal for two at Figuro's Fine Mediterranean Eatery where you may have  freshly prepared pasta dishes, BBQ baby back ribs or Figuro's signature steak. You may also enjoy a glass of wine or other beverage with your meal.

Day Two
The following day we will have arranged for your canoe/kayak/raft rental at the premier outfitter, Twin Bridges. It is a lovely 21 mile drive to Twin Bridges on MO 14. At Twin Bridges you will be outfitted for your float with all necessary equipment for a safe and enjoyable journey. At the culmination of your float, personnel from Twin Bridges will load the canoe and transport you back to the start point for your return to Victoria Gardens. We will provide beach towels, rock shoes if needed, and an optional bag lunch (sandwiches, pasta salad, potato chips, cookies or brownies & drinks) for your float.
